International financial services firm seeks a P&L Risk Analyst.
Position Summary
Duties include:
• Generate daily independent P&L and publish results on the applicable web reporting platform in a timely manner for the products traded within the business.
• Where applicable, reconcile daily P&L and position reports to front office P&L estimates or other system reports.
• Obtain daily Front Office P&L sign-off. Adhere to policy regarding the escalation of non-compliance with sign offs to upper management.
• Provide in depth analysis of P&L decomposition.
• Where applicable, month-end accounting, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Manage and run processes to measure and report on market risk for the products traded within the businesses
• Ensure risks within portfolios covered are correctly measured, aggregated, and analyzed in accordance with established and approved market risk policies
• Within the products traded within the businesses ensuring positions are within approved limits, and where they are not follow the appropriate escalation process
• Liaise closely with the Bank’s front office traders, market risk control, audit, technology groups, and other operations to assist in meeting the Bank’s objectives
• Perform ad-hoc analyses of specific risk metrics/transactions as required by management, front office traders and market risk control.
